El Camino and Off Roading      Date: 09/19/2006

I can't remember how old I was, maybe between 7-10 or something, when we went into the CC woods to go for a ride. It was my dad, Pete 'our neighbor' and his son Pete. The grown ups decided to go through the mystery puddle that no one could get through......in an el camino! No it wasn't lifted or customized, they just thought it would be fun.

Well it didn't take long for the car to get stuck. It was burried up to the middle of the door with water. My dad put me up on the roof of the truck so he could get out to see what was going on. Of course I had to hold his beer for him. Needless to say the beer didn't last long and neither did I. I slid down the roof onto the hood of the car 'at least that's what I think happened'. I still to this day don't remember anything after that. How we got out, what happened to me etc....It's just one of those stories that I won't forget. after you drank.. MY LAST BEER.... we took off the distributor cap. the points were wet from pete speeding through a deep puddle. he finally got the truck started and we went back home.. beerless...THANKS BUDDY..HEHE
